Linen, banana fibre (naturally dyed with walnut, eucalyptus and iron).
These works are woven from banana fibre, a by-product of banana cultivation that is typically discarded after harvest. An open leno weave structure forms the underlying framework, while an expanded approach to inlay is used to build the sentinel-like motifs.
Finishing : This piece has brackets nailed to the back of the timber cleats which will sit over screws in the wall.
