Join Irish/Australian artist Leyla Bulmer for an inspiring and expressive Life Drawing Workshop, set in the thoughtfully designed and beautifully curated Camilo House. There will be wine, cheese, good music and great company.
This workshop offers a unique opportunity to connect with self-expression. It creates space to appreciate and illuminate the beauty of the human form. Together, we’ll explore what often remains unseen, celebrating the hidden aspects of self. An empowering experience created with purpose to uplift and inspire participants of all skill levels.
Over this 2-hour session, Leyla will guide you through a variety of drawing exercises designed to capture the essence of the muse. Beginning with quick, expressive poses to encourage looseness and spontaneity and fluidity, followed by a pause to reflect, connect, and refresh. We’ll then move into a series of longer poses, inviting deeper observation and attention to detail.
This isn’t about creating perfect artworks—it’s about improving hand-eye coordination, being present in your body, honing your observational skills, and embracing exploration. Within this inclusive and welcoming environment, the practice becomes a space for both self-expression and self-inquiry—a chance to learn more about yourself through the study of another.
