Being Sensitive
Being Sensitive is both an exhibition and an ongoing exploration of how the built environment can shape our emotional, physical, and psychological experiences. It reflects on the idea of Sense of Place—how the spaces we inhabit become part of our identity, memory, and sense of self.
For this exhibition, Studio Kennon invited eight emerging Australian artists to respond to this theme through both new and archival works. Each artist brings a unique perspective—engaging with materiality, memory, connection, and place—offering a rich and layered interpretation of sensitivity in design.
Set against one of Melbourne’s most spectacular views, the exhibition will be held on the top floor of the iconic Harry Seidler building in the CBD.
